Id this Sports Illustrated (?) photographer: Tyson-Berbick fight

Bert Randolph Sugar usually has some pithy comments about the participants in fights he reviews. In Tyson-Berbick, he said something to the effect, “Berbick’s best punch of the night was [as he was falling to the canvas] when he almost took out Sports Illustrated photographer [?].”

I don’t have the actual clip anymore, but it sounded like the name of the photographer was something like “eye-uh-nah-kah.” It might be an Italian name like “Ionacca,” but the closest person to Berbick’s glove looked more Oriental, so it might be something like “Ayonaka.”

Anyone??? Wasn’t quite sure where to put this question.

John Iacono, who looks to be one of SI’s longest tenured photographers.

AS an aside that “view this issue” button is great. Talk about memory lane with the ads and such. It’s like being a HS freshman again.

Cool. Thanks.
