ID This Weird Toy Figurine

It has tentacles. It has a single red eye. It has a harp. It looks Japanese. What is it?

How big is it?

It is three and a half inches tall.

Does it have any marks on the bottom?

There are no marks on the bottom.

Isn’t that one of the bad guys from Power Rangers?

What’s it made out of?

It is Jean-Paul Sartre.

The alternate mega platinum version.

Its Moguera, Arch-Bishop of Japan…

Actually, what it sort of reminds me of is Wormface from Heinlein’s Have Space Suit, Will Travel. But only sort of. (Interestinlgy, I’m not finding any illustrations of Wormface on the netz.)

Looks Lovecraftian. Are you sure the “harp” isn’t one stylized wing, and the other might be broken off or missing? 'Cause it brings to mind the “Elder Things.”

Several Elder Things

Toy version of Elder Thing

Damnedest thing…

Heh–I put the image into google search and it came up with this thread as a match!

The “visually similar” matches were interesting, but I didn’t see anything like the mystery object.

I noticed a resemblance. But I don’t think it’s an Elder Thing. The harp might be a wing. But there is no mark where another wing would have been.

TDN It’s made of some sort of plastic.

It makes me think of a gashapon toy - those little toys you get from the vending machines. But I’d have no idea what series it would be from, it reminds me of either Yu-gi-oh or something like Shin Megami Tensei.

Where’d you get it?

My immediate thought was “Japanese warrior whose head is being chewed off by an octopus”

This looks just a little bit like itfrom this discussion board page.

I bought it at a toy show in Florida. There was no packaging or documentation and the seller didn’t know what it was either.

A blasphemous altar in the Mountains of the Moon?

Oh. Well, kinda similar.

God help me for knowing how to Google this, but it’s a Power Rangers villain.
