I heard fragments of this songs in a restaurant:
#1) Girl, I need you so much. . . .The way you use your love. . . .And what you do. . . And what you got. . . . And what you know.
Time frame: unknown. I heard it in the past few weeks, but this restaurant plays a mix on their piped-in music that coud be anywhere from six months ago to 30 years. Somehow, I got the idea that it might have been more recent as opposed to less recent.
Style? Rock, funk, R&B, ballad? Did it remind you of Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire, the 1910 Fruitgum Co.?
Fast, slow, middlin’? Electric guitars, bass, drums and keyboards? Big horn section?
Throw us a bone, here…
Thanks, but I don’t think so. It had a Marc Anthony sort of feel to it.
Rupee’s Tempted to Touch is SoCa. You can find his music on Yahoo Launch and see if perhaps it really is that song? It’s a decently popular newish song.
Here is Rupee’s VH1 page, check the song out to see. Given the the way the lyrics are delivered by the singer it is a fair guess as to the song you heard.
