The show would involve taking the top players of simulation software and sticking them in real world situations to see how much their gaming prepares them for the real thing. A tank gamer would try to operate a real tank, an aircraft gamer would go up in a trainer(or attempt to), and war gamers could go against a real military team(paintball of course.)
Ideas, criticism, brickbats etc?
The Mythbusters successfully landed a 747 simulator with no experience, just by being talked down on the ‘radio’. Have a couple gamers (but not experienced on aircraft simulators) run through the same simulation as the Mythbusters once, then put them in a real 747 and try to land it. No backup pilots onboard, that would be cheating. I’d watch that!
