Its a fairly popular Christmas song but I don’t really much to go on but all that I remember is that the Star of Bethlehem is actually an alien spaceship. It came up in a conversation about favourite Christmas songs.
If anyone can work it out from that I’ll be very impressed.

Is it supposed to be a humorous novelty song? I have never heard anything like that.

It’s not a song, but the first thing I thought of was Arthur Clarke’s short story “The Star”.
