I saw this music video while channel surfing one day. The band is in this pond / swamp area playing and the lead singer opens this trap door and jumps in. Whilst down the ‘rabbit hole’ he encounters all these people who look like they are dressed in a single color body suit. Their facial features are obscured by the body suit which is the same color as any clothes they are wearing. One of them is sitting at a bar table with this singer, and another at the end in standing knee deep in some water and turns and runs off into a patch of some sort of reeds or water grass.
No the thing that stuck out to me was it sounded like a famous band (I’m thinking Skynard) covering a song by another famous band. If that makes any sense. I guess I mean the style of play / arrangement sounded familiar and the chord progressions, lyrics sounded familar but from another source.
I mentioned this to a good buddy and he said was it <insert name I’ve forgotten here> because it is a band started by the lead singer from another band which might explain the familairity I was experiencing.
I apologize for being totally clueless on this one…but it is bugging me, and was hoping to find out who that was. I’ve got CMT on now hoping it will come up in the rotation.
