Identify this probably 80's fantasy TV movie/miniseries

I was born in 1980, so I assume this is a late 80’s thing, and for some reason I remember it as a “tv event” sort of thing like they used to have. My brain is sure it was a miniseries, but I’m not sure it’s trustworthy. Anyway, what I remember is that it involved mirrors heavily, and a teenaged protagonist who gets, of course, trapped in the mirror. (Bedroom full length mirror.) And there was fruit, Persephone-style - literally, I think, in that she ate the fruit when she knew she wasn’t supposed to. The fruit was little red things (not actually pomegranate seeds, IIRC.) I think there was also some sort of Summer Queen/Winter Queen dichotomy (or Good Witch of the East/Wicked Witch of the West, something like that.)

Extremely vague, I know, but I was just on tvtropes on the enormous pages of “Nightmare Fodder” and now I know exactly what version of Alice in Wonderland had the SOUL EATING JABBERWOCKY in it, and this thing came to mind because it always kind of bothered me. Can’t hurt to ask, right?

Could it have been “The Hugga Bunch” http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0173915/ ? It has some of the elements you’re talking about…girl goes through bedroom mirror (with her fabulous Mattel doll) to get magic fruit to save her grandmother, but said magic fruit is kept by an evil queen who eats it to stay young. And since they were seemingly on a mission to terrify as many young children as possible, the evil queen gets it in the end by not having access to the fruit so as to cause her to age rapidly before dying trapped beneath glass. Ah… good times. Anyways, I hope this helps.
