I just saw this pic on a local Facebook group, someone asking what the symbol was. I had a sense of deja vu that I had seen someone else asking about the same symbol on the Dope not too long ago! I don’t recall if we ever got the answer, tho.
Any guesses?

Am I the only one who gets the impression of a cobra, with two fangs extending down from above?
If you invert it, it could be a stylized beehive, the state symbol of Utah.
If you google for images of castle signet rings, you’ll come up with quite a few similar images. This one does appear to be stylized in a “W” which would most likely represent the place name rather than the family name.
I have decided it means nothing. It’s just a geometric design.
