identify this sci-fi miniseries

the main place is a hotel room and there’s a key that opens that door or any door in the world plus it will open any door to where ever you can imagine to be. here are also several other “objects” that i don’t remember what they do but I do remember that A) they cannot be destroyed and B) they consist of a glass eye, a radio and several other things

The lost room

thank you so very very much:D:):D:):D:)

No prob.

Im trying to remember how it ended and I’m drawing a blank. I seem to remember an open ending, with much of the room’s nature unexplained, but I’m not sure about that. Does anyone remember?

I thought the series was entertaining, but frustrating in a “This is ok, but it could have been so much better” way.

I don’t remember much about it because I saw it back in my stoner days (many of you may remember norinew’s stories about me). that’s why i could not even remember the name of it

I thought The Lost Room was really good–one of my favorite TV miniseries ever. It was like a great Stephen King story, but much better than the typical King novel-to-movie adaptation. They ended it with plenty of room (heh) left for a sequel or even an ongoing series, but there are no plans that I know of to continue it. :frowning:

The main character became the new occupant (I believe by killing the old occupant in the room). He then rescued his daughter by having someone reset the room while he was in it. The nature of the event that created the room and the various object-obsessed secret societies were left pretty much up in the air making it seem like this was intended to launch a series.
