It has been a while since I have watched an episode of Seinfeld. The other day I was thinking of one where George was faking some sort of nervous tic. I don’t remember why he was faking, or the actual tic itself. I think I remember him actually going to the doctor over it, and the doc got on his case for wasting his time.
So, is this an actual episode, or did I just make this one up? Any info would be appreciated.
There’s also a related episode where he gets grapefruit juice squirted in his eye during breakfast at the diner and blinks in that eye for the rest of the day. He gets his boss at his Yankees job in trouble with his wife by winking while telling her that her husband is getting a “massage”– ;).
I believe this was on locally last week, which is why I immediately remembered it.
This was the episode where George runs across his childhood arch nemesis, Llyod Braun (a different one from the one selling computers in George’s dad’s garage, who had a breakdown from being fired from Mayor Dinkins campaign staff.
Anyway, this episode had the no-fat yogurt shop in it, and Lloyd Braun met Elaine in the yogurt shop (I think). They went out, and Elaine mentioned to Lloyd that it would be a great idea for everyone in the city to wear name tags, Lloyd mentioned it to mayor Dinkins, and Dinkins proposed it. Only to become a laughingstock and lose the election. Lloyd was fired by Dinkins.
The one thing that I always thought was truly genius with Seinfeld was how all the stories intertwined in the 30 minutes, and they all resolve at the end of a show. Some of the best writing ever in that series. (Excluding the dreadful first and second seasons, of course).
Yeah, two different actors, same character of Lloyd Braun. The first one was seen in the name tag fat-free yogurt episode, then the second one showed up in the “serenity now!” episode.
