Identify this song from almost nothing!

So, on the off chance somebody is still reading this thread, I listened to the rest of the album and some of it is good, some not so good, but nothing is really quite like the “Body Meets Soul” track. Does anybody know any artists that have a similar musical quality as this song?

I don’t know of any other songs that sound quite like “Soul Meets Body.” I thought some of their other songs sound a bit like Ben Folds Five, which I don’t like too much, so I’m not really reccommending them. You might like Pinback or The Cloud Room.

Could it be the** Postal Service’s ** “Clark Gable”? Is that a single? Does it matter these days? (I don’t listen to a lot of radio.)

The guy’s voice is kind of whiny, but the song is quite catchy. It has a pretty steady beat throughout.

Clip here, but it unfortunately doesn’t play the chorus, which has the line: “I want so badly to believe…”

Hey, I remember that thread. I purposely didn’t read it because I thought, “I’m probably going to read that book and I don’t want to have any ideas before I start.” I’ll have to bookmark it for when I’m done.
I’ll check out Pinback and the Cloud Room too.
