I caught the briefest of glimpses the other day while watching the news of some video that’s apparently quite popular. I literally only caught about a second of it before they cut to a commercial.
It was a handful of teenagers (or perhaps young adults) doing some kind of dance. They appeared to be in a parking lot.
Although you said it was in a parking lot, if the clip was real short, this street scene might appear to be a parking lot, especially after the dancers stop traffic.
Anyway, thanks for making me look this up and bringing back some great memories from when this movie came out.
Oh boy. It used to be ‘Books’, ‘movies’, old or obscure ‘TV shows’, and ‘songs’, (often remembered in childhood in-which the inquisitor only remember a lyric or two); And now ‘Youtube’.
Heh, not making fun of you HeyHomie, I wish I could help ya. Hope you find it.
Hmm…well, there more people involved in my Youtube than “four or five”, but if you only caught a glimpse it still *COULD *be that. Any other details you may be leaving out? Do you know what kind of dance it was? Did you see both women and men involved? Was it just for the camera, or was there a crowd?
Eh, sorry for all the posts, but I’m not sure that link works for everyone because it’s in “HD”,(I guess, my friends computer wont play it), so incase it doesn’t work, here’s the non-HD;
Could it be the OK Go? They have numerous youtube vids in which they do odd dance routines in weird places, and have spawned numerous copycats. (I can’t find a parking lot vid by them though.)
Thanks for all the replies, everyone. None of the links are what I am looking for, but they’ve been fun to watch anyway (especially the Disneyland Marriage Proposal - that made my day!).
I’m pretty sure that it must have been this, and maybe you just got confused with the parking lot part. There’s dancing, and it’s really the only recent Youtube phenom to make it to “local evening news” level of exposure.
