Hehe…any chance we can make room for press? Or would you prefer to avoid the hassle?
I’ll play. Newbie, though. Only played once, with the then-GF, though. Keep in mind that as this was with the then-GF, I have a lot of mental blocks set up around that (and several other) nights, so I have no idea how to play (beyond the basic rules, of course).
I’ll go check those sites and brush up, though.

God DAMN YOU ALL TO FUCKING HELL!!!
Man, that last SDMB Dip was the fawking best. Me and Seth Dimbert were kicking ass and taking names. I was Turkey and Seth was Austria. So naturally I convinced him to ally with me. And the thing was, I was sincere! It was weird to have someone who really wanted a strong alliance. We crushed Italy. We dismantled Russia. Germany was down to one unit. Meanwhile, over on the other side of the board Puccette as France had England down to one unit too. But it was shaping up to be Austria and Turkey versus France, and Seth and I had worked together for the whole game and had a strong strong alliance and there was no way that France could stalemate us. Pucette is frantically emailing me to get me to stab my buddy. As if. Nope, she could see the writing on the wall, and it looked like curtains for France.
Then Maeglin loses his job and is on the streets and can’t moderate the game from his homeless shelter or something. We were THIS CLOSE to crushing our enemies, driving them from their homes and hearing the lamentation of their women (or men). You destroyed my dreams, Maeglin. You took an innocent child’s soul and you tossed it away like a used Kleenix[sup]TM[/sup] brand facial tissue.
But I’m in for another game. I wanna play! Is there still room? Don’t tell me I’m too late! I beg you!
Boy, I’m not sure I can GM 7 games at once. Not without having the turns be 2 weeks in duration. And if I did that we’d be playing until the board becomes profitable.
How 'bout I offer to GM another one as soon as one of the one’s I have ends? That shouldn’t take too long. Two of them are approaching endgame status anyway.
