If 9/11 was a hoax and this was revealed to the public, what would the implications for humanity be?

Don’t you hate it when someone says something you can almost agree with, and then they just bring in to much crazy-talk?

Its not even the right decade. 14+ years since the event and we’ve got what to show to support the claim of ‘provable lie?’

Don’t bother…we’ve seen what you have already. It isn’t even close.

Well, first of all, were it to be true, we’d have to reconcile the conniving intelligence of The Powers That Be in pulling this stunt off with the willfully stupid planning thereof that they could not do a better job of fabricating an excuse for invading Iraq. Like, I dunno, making it look like Iraq had been the instigator of the events of 9/11 instead of Al Qaeda operatives from within Afghanistan, for example.

Unless, of course, The Powers That Be and the George Bush administration are being posited as different entities. In which case it would be useful to know who the fuck The Powers That Be actually were and what their objectives were in faking the events of 9/11. And it would, at this point, be interesting to learn how it is that this secret is being revealed to the public now when, at the time, the administration of the US Government was completely in the dark. Hmm, maybe that last bit isn’t quite as farfetched as I was thinking it was when I started this paragraph…

But seriously, if it were a conspiracy, it would have to have been a conspiracy of someone other than the GWB administration because even that pack of nincompoops could have concocted a better scenario for supporting their desired course of action, and almost could not help making themselves look better than they came out looking.

And I just can’t suspend sufficient disbelief to entertain the possibility that conspirators other than the GWB administration pulled this off and fooled them as well as us and then these nearly-15 years later someone somehow is revealing this to the public. They’d have to be slicker than freezing rain on teflon to have successfully worked behind the backs of the many different political factions they’d have had to have fooled and if they were that good at deception there would be no way to trust that what they reveal now is indeed the whole truth. Nor does it compute that such an efficiently slick cabal would get outed in 2015 and not be able to stop it from getting to the public.

It’s a conflict between the Powers That Be, the Powers That Was, and the Powers That Will Be. Mere mortals like ourselves can only cower in our caves when such Forces clash.

Oh, look - cookies!

Thank goodness you’re aren’t trying to muddy the waters.

To say nothing of sideline interference by The Powers That Could’ve Been, The Powers That Might, The Powers That Won’t, and The Powers That Boothe.

Don’t forget the Powers that Lunch!

Ahem. More than half the Republicans are for either Trump or Carson. That’s swallowing the BS and asking for more.

But that has nothing to do with 9/11.

And they filmed the fall of the Towers on the same magical set where they did the moon landing hoax. And where the Mars rovers are still running around. You don’t think they are real, do you?
And there is a great matte shot of Pluto on Stage 3.

Now, THAT’S scary!

Even if he weren’t a short eyes.

I read that sideways and thought you said Dennis Haysbert. Now that’s a president I could support.

But that means Jack Bauer would also be real, and that world frightens me.

This and similar threads lead to an undeniable conclusion.

It has to do with the number of one-sentence paragraphs in a post.

Up to three of them, and it is possible the poster has something valid to say.

Once there are five or more one-sentence paragraphs in a row, the odds of lunacy* increase.

After awhile, reading glurge written in such a style makes one’s head hurt, not even accounting for content.

Make it stop.

*you drove me to it.

Most of the American people have been silently complicit in many ugly acts taken by their government. And it does matter. The human lives lost in the Panamanian revolution matter. The millions of lives lost in Iraq and Syria since the completely mis-guided American invasion of Iraq matter, at least as much as the thousands of American lives.

We must all take responsibility for the actions of our government, and make the changes necessary so that our responsibility does not shame and embarrass us. Instead, too many just shrug, or retroactively defend the indefensible.

This is only slightly related to the OP, but I think your remarks reflect a common view that should be rebutted wherever possible.

Oo, I ran across a book that really puts the 9/11 hoax in perspective:

"In this shocking exposé, investigative researcher and author S. K. Bain explores the inconsistencies, coincidences, and historical precedents of the events of September 11, 2001, and reconstructs an occult-driven script for a Global Luciferian MegaRitual. "

What more can be said?*

*note that the author has rubbed shoulders, or conceivably other body parts with famous people and his book has mostly favorable reviews.

Just as a data point, the death toll for the 1903 Panamanian revolution was three injured and one death. (A Mr. Wong Kong Kee of China. While any loss of life is deplorable, as revolutions go this was painless.)

I think Roderick was referring to the 1989 Invasion of Panama.

I would have thought the Teddy Roosevelt reference was a tipoff.

Close. Duhbya’s administration knew something was up but not exactly when, where, nor how.

I think I disagree with the OP. If it comes out that the White House knew beforehand (strangely, this seems likely) or even organized the attacks themselves (!) it would bring a certain order to human events. The whole sorry affair would be a single identifiable conspiracy, and simple enough to understand. And we could deal with it.
