If love could keep them alive, they’d live forever.
So sorry :(. It sucks to lose them, but not having them in the first place is just not a way I’d want to live.
He was a cutie. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him a good life.
I am very sorry for your loss. He looks like one I would have loved to skritch behind the ears and under the chin. 
Again, thank you all for your kind comments. He comes back home on Friday and I’ll make him a special box and surround it with special things, his picture with a poem I wrote today, his collar, etc. And I’ll be on the lookout for a little stuffie that looks like him.
