Biden is the most guaranteed-to-win Democratic candidate since Clinton in 1996. He could pick a cobra for his running mate and he’d still beat Trump by a hundred electoral votes.
Biden already committed to a female running mate back at the start of the year. Unless you get a committee of the top 12 most influential female Democrats in the land to have a joint press conference to announce “America, we should not hold him to that”, he’s gonna have a tough time not doing it.
Yes- if the election was honest, Joe would win hands down.
But the GOP and Kremlin are gonna do anything and everything to steal the elections; big lies and scurrilous accusations (Larry Correia has posted a faked and edit vid on Facebook to say Joe is a pedo), voter intimidation and suppression, out and out fraud.
He’s already said he’s picking a female VP. HIs age is a factor, though. I often find myself thinking if voters may reject the idea of voting because they don’t want Harris/Abrams/Warren as a possible president for a year or two.
Me? No problem. He can pick Satan as his VP and it won’t change my vote.
The first two female VP candidates were desperation moves made by long shot candidates. Biden is currently the favorite and is working from a position of strength.
I can’t even wrap my brain around the sentiment in the OP. Seriously?
As somebody above said, people who are scared of a woman in power are already voting for Trump.
I agree, but it’s more complicated than that. The reason that “being Hillary Clinton” contributed to her loss is rooted in the fact that that people started vilifying her for misogynist reasons way back in 1992. She did not conform to societal expectations for a woman and then first lady. That was instrumental in her becoming the Hillary Clinton that people still hated in 2016.
But ultimately, you’re right that she did not lose simply by matter of her gender. Other factors were far more important.
As people have repeatedly asked in your other threads…

And someone pointed out to you that this isn’t a place for your opinion, unless it’s backed by facts. This is not a message board where we just want to hear “what people think about stuff”. We want well-thought-out analysis, backed up by fact-based articles and legitimate studies.
So, unless you can prove that “a lot of GOP voters” want Kristi Noem as President in 2024 (hint: your answer would have actual numbers, many with % signs), it might be best to wait until you do.
