If BYU wins their first two Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament games,

their current bracket would require them to play a Sunday game, which would be verboten.

Given, two wins may be unlikely, but other than move BYU to another bracket, what could the NCAA realistically do?

And were BYU to move to another bracket and continue winning, wouldn’t that just screw up almost everyone’s office bracket pool?

And wouldn’t that be ironic?

No, it wouldn’t be ironic. It would just be stupid and annoying. If nothing else, being an avid Farker has taught me the correct use of the term “irony”.

I don’t see why they just didn’t switch them with another 12 seed.

But I think UConn is going to render this problem moot PDQ.

There’s already a thread about this in the Pit.

What’s this day of rest shit? What’s this bullshit? I don’t fuckin’ care! It don’t matter to Jesus. But you’re not foolin’ me, man. You might fool the fucks in the league office, but you don’t fool Jesus. This bush league psyche-out stuff. Laughable, man - ha ha!

If they make it to the Sweet Sixteen, Elizabeth Smart will play the national anthem on her harp.
