If Hillary doesn't run, what would your reaction be?

I fear Warren in the race. As much as I’d prefer to face Hillary Clinton at this point, I could live with it if she won. If Warren won, that would be awful.

This isn’t the first time that I’ve seen you extolling a Romney PotUS, Shodan. I wonder why you think so highly of him specifically, when he’s been, at best, a middle-of-the-road governor. There’s nothing particularly exciting about him.

Just look at the alternatives on his side. That’s why.

Which in conservaspeak means, “Start another land war in Asia.”

If it means “We’re gonna cut the shit about repealing national Romneycare, er, excuse me, ACA”, it wouldn’t be *entirely *bad.

If you’re supporting Clinton you’re in no position to criticize hawkishness. SecState Clinton is one of the reasons the Obama administration is currently fighting in five countries.

I HATE being labeled on stuff like this but I do “trend” liberal (although I MUCH prefer the term “Progressive” in this context) and I’ve been complaining about this for a while: this is shaping up to be THE lamest U.S. Presidential election since 1988’s, whether or not Hillary Clinton runs, at least as far as I’m concerned. My reaction if H.C. doesn’t end up running for President? “Eh, BFD. I honestly haven’t been all that interested in the field of candidates so far, anyway.”

What’s the *main *one?

Romney is exceptionally well-qualified, but it is difficult to discuss in Elections because of foolishness like this -

The signal-to-noise ratio is a little too high at the moment and in this kind of a thread.

Maybe in GD, after he declares.

Regards,
Shodan

I noticed libs started calling themselves progressives after conservatives made liberal a radioactive word in the mid '00s. Screw that noise. What happens if they make progressive a dirty word?

Progressives were often authoritarian. I like liberal better. Liberals actually won the battle against progressives in FDR’s time. A lot of lefties say progressive without actually knowing what that means: it’s a very GOP style of leftism, quite at odds with traditional Democratic New Deal liberalism.
