If I say the name Archie...

  1. The comic book freckly ginger dude
  2. Manning
  3. John Cleese’s Archie Leach from A Fish Called Wanda
  1. Archie Andrews
  2. Archie the Robot (Robot Archie - Wikipedia)
  1. Archie Bunker
  2. The late comic book editor/writer, Archie Goodwin
  3. The Archies
  4. The fictional Archie Goodwin
  5. Archie Bell and the Drells

Archie from Monarch of the Glen immediately sprang to my mind, but I am at present immersed in the DVD series.
Normally, it probably would have been Archie Andrews.

1- Archie Bunker
2- Archie Griffin- the el primo numero uno example of a Heisman winner that didn’t do squat in the NFL.

  1. Archie Andrews 2. Archie Williams 3. Archie Leach 4. WWI AAA
  1. Archie Andrews
  2. Cary Grant

  3. Who?

Today it was:

Andrews

But I think it might be different on any given day.

Definitely Bunker, followed by “comic book Archie”

Who he?

I thought of Goodwin first, since I’ve been watching Nero Wolfe on DVD recently (and so naturally got a mental picture of Tim Hutton in a colorfully loud suit).

Then Andrews, followed by Bunker–or, to be precise, with Jean Stapleton’s voice saying “Oh, Archie!” in that way Edith used to.

  1. Andrews
  2. Shepp
  3. Bunker

I don’t know who Goodwin and Andrews are.

Oh, so I guess Andrews is comic book Archie, but also a (yet another radio) ventriloquist’s dummy. Confusing.

What, I’m the ONLY one who thought of Archie Kennedy?

Comic book Archie, then I drew a blank.

The name “Archie Moore” kept popping in my head, and I have no idea why.

Does anyone know who Archie Moore is, and more importantly, why is he in my head?
