I don’t actually remember what my last movie was. There were a few I wanted to see but didn’t.
I saw Bert Kreischer at the Beacon Theater in NYC about a week before everything shut down.
I was due to see Post Modern Jukebox about a month later. Got word about a week ago that it has been rescheduled to October.
Last movie theater viewing: The Rise of Skywalker, in early January
Last live theater performance: A show by a local theater group, which a friend of mine directed, in November
Last live music performance: Electric Light Orchestra, last July
First cancellation: another local theater performance, which would have starred a friend of mine, in late March
Last live theater performance: The Two Gentlemen of Verona performed by Purdue Theatre in February 2019.
Concert postponed: Gordon Lightfoot in Nashville, Indiana, March 26. Currently rescheduled for July 24.
That’s a coincidence. Gabriel Iglesias was the last show I went to before the cancellations started. The show was on 3/5/20.
The last live music performance I saw was last summer, Steve Earle and the Dukes in Joliet, Il. on their Guy Clark tribute tour. If that’s the last live show I ever see, it was a good one.
This feels like an honorable mention: Last outdoor concert: Willie Nelson and Allison Krauss, less than a week before Willie hung up his touring hat.
