I can’t see them putting him in a regular federal prison (not that he would deserve special treatment).
Where would they put the “King” of Pop?

I presume he would do time in a California state facility, not a federal one.
I further presume that a prison system that can deal with all the oddballs California produces could find a place for Jacko.
I understand that Martha Stewart had less “criminal charges” but she was put in a minimum security prison…she also spent less time than Jackson will if convicted. But if Michael is found guilty I wonder if he will be put in the same kind of minimum security prison.
Sexual predators of children have often been victims of vigilante justice within prisons. There may be a segregated facility to protect such prisoners from the general prison population.
I assume you are correct about this. My ex-wife was counselling the mother of a young girl who had been murdered. The mother received a smuggled letter from a member of a bikie gang. He asked whether she wanted the murderer killed and told her what to put in the paper to arrange it. The most surprising thing was how matter-of-fact and polite the letter was. She knocked back the offer.
Most likely a maximum security prison in the special secure area for high profile and at risk prisoners. This is the place for former cops, child molestors, snitches and the notorious. He may get to meet Charles Manson.

Hey, not
BAD.
What Haj said. My institution has a special management unit for just these sorts of folk; those who have certain vulnerabilities and are more likely to be preyed on. In addition to the types mentioned above, it also includes men with very effeminate bodies and/or mannerisms, developmentally delayed or disabled people, lawyers, and former judges. Among others.

I always thought that if MJ were found guilty he wouldn’t go to prison at all, he would just wouldn’t be allowed to be around children and basically be on probation.
I couldn’t see MJ surviving in jail no matter what the charge, even if it had nothing to do with molesting children, because he gives high profile a new definition. He would be so high profile that prisoners would want to mess with him just to say that they did.
Oh would you just BEAT IT!
Nope, he’s facing a good twenty years if he’s found guilty. In fact, had the 1993 charges gone to trial and had he been found guilty, he’d still be sitting in prison.
That’s useful feedback, and I understand very well the reasons for each of the categories you named – but I do have to say that I was ROFL at the juxtaposition of those four examples!
Are there ever instances where those types prey upon each other?

Sexual predators of children have often been victims of vigilante justice within prisons.
Here’s a recent example of prison justice in Massachusetts involving one of the “pedophile priests”:

Former Judges?
former judges, cops, prison guards, and elected officials tend to be targets for “rough justice” in prison. So they may get sent to Special Management Units along with the flamboyant homosexuals, effeminate men, and high profile cases like serial cannibals, etc.
I think I know the perfect place for our little Mikey.
The only remaining question is : glass jar, or glass dome?
