Trump’s passports have been in the news a lot. And we’ve had a thread or two speculating about why the FBI seized them (and now returned them)–with lots of fun guessing about Trump fleeing the country , and what the specific procedures involving passports are.
So let the fun continue, with the question in the thread title:
It will never happen, but let’s assume that Trump panics over the various court cases he’s facing, and he actually does jump in his private plane and take off in the middle of the night, lands in Moscow, and is warmly welcomed by Putin. .
Now there’s a breaking news story for ya.
But it would sure put the right-wing news channels in a difficult situation…how would they cover the story?
My guess is that at first they would deny it.
Trump didn’t flee–he’s travelling to meet Putin in order to solve the war in Ukraine and save American tax payers the huge unnecessary expense of arming Ukraine.
Or how 'bout:
Trump had to leave because the liberals in the deep state were about to assassinate him.
