I’m curious as to how this breaks down with regards to age and gender, so please include those.
As to me, I was born in '61 and astronauts were like the Titans in my eyes. I didn’t follow in their footsteps, but if I could I would without hesitation. The Mister part of my name is correct.
For what it is worth, I believe that this is the very first thread I’ve ever started here.
It would involve aviation of some sort but I have heard bad things about most pilot jobs these days. I would like to be something like a bush pilot but maybe in the Carribean instead of Alaska during the winter,
I probably have a distorted image of the daily work of an archaeologist, but I have always been fascinated with ancient cultures and the stuff they left behind. A friend I grew up with is now a world renowned anthropologistwho has been featured in National Geographic several times, and I envy him. I love to watch documentaries about archaeological digs and new information about cultures that can be gained from discoveries.
It would be cool to be instantly qualified for that right now and still be able to go to school for what I’m already doing (research and conservation) and be kind of a little of both, though.
I wish to be fully qualified in inter-(sentient)specie political relations. This, of course, means we’ll have to find, or be found by, another intelligent specie.
Hopefully, we’ll be found by an intelligent interstellar civilization, and I can sign up to be mans first interstellar comm officer. No one kills the comm officer.
