If you could erase one stereotype what would it be?

Silver Tyger Girl, thanks for the explanation and gradations.

Quite right. They need to be put down humanely.

Rich people are evil, uncaring bastards.
Corporations are uncaring and inherently evil.

I’m sorry, I have to do two.

Working class people are stupid and lazy or some unfortunate combination of both.

Seriously mentally ill people, like schizophrenics, are dangerous.

Then we wouldn’t be able to talk about Scientologists.

That Texans can count to one.

Okay, cheap shot, and lots of other people put more than one. But a Texan was there first.

That overweight people can just lose the weight if they just try…like it’s as easy as taking off a jacket.

That religious people are all stuck-up prudes who don’t know how to have fun, and hate it when other people have fun.

You got it wrong,

Corporations are evil and inherently uncaring!

That disabled people are angelic and inspirational – especially when in direct proportion to how much they “overcome” their disability. On the rare occasions I’ve had “inspirational” thrown my way I’ve hated it, since said “inspirational” activity was something ordinary like going to school, or buying groceries.

That pit bulls are vicious, treacherous, unpredictable dogs which only macho idiots would ever want.
That all drug users are squirrelly, sneaky and/or dangerous criminals who can’t be trusted and don’t deserve respect.

You’re welcome, I’m just doing my part.

I think it’d be a fair trade off.
