…what kind of CAR/TRUCK/Whatever, would you have??
remember, money is no object!
Hey, Ad, tomorrow when you’re looking for this thread, it’ll probably be over in IMHO.
don’t think so, this is a general Question…
Well IMHO it would have to be a Dodge Viper
One of those airplane thingies JFKJr had. IMHO, that is. Would make for a REALLY cool first date . . . "Hey, we’re going on a bit of a plane ride tonight . . . "
either a Jag or a Saturn.
Model? Got me - I’d have to make a decision when I was at the dealership.
But the world is probably a safer place with me in my POS Escort…
No, a General Question is one for which there is or reasonably might be an answer. This is a survey of your fellow members, and it belongs in (and will get the best responses in) IMHO. I’ll move the thread there for you.
Since I have a truck already now I want a Honda Impulse!! I have owned a Honda before and it got 30+MPG so to double it, sweet. I’m not a big speed and power person. Reading a report in Car and Driver convinced me I want/need this car.
The Honda Impulse is that new gas-electric hybrid, right? I definitely want one of those, and it doesn’t matter if it’s free.
Don’t ever forget that it costs money to use the car, not just for fuel but for oil and other fluids, routine maintenance, replacement parts, etc. Plus it’s not always convenient to gas up. If this thing gets 60 MPG and I don’t have to constantly worry about dead batteries, I want one.
I’d purchase a BMW M5http://216.65.75.40/servlets/HelloWorld?year=1999&make=BMW&model=E39%20M5.
400 horsepower
180mph top speed
0-60 in just over five seconds
excellent handling
seats the whole family
If I didn’t have to be practical, I wouldn’t mind a Hondacura NSX, McLaren F1, Feerari F50, Shelby Cobra 427, or a nice TVR.
A Dolorean, fitted with a flux capacitor for time travel of course.
a new yellow Beetle.
But I would want it paid for.
That blue Lada Niva 1600, with the big fat white stripe, that I used to meet with in the middle of the night.
Mm mmm baby.
Frankly, the kind of car doesn’t really matter too much. I just want a car that never, ever breaks down. Also, it should get good mileage and have lots of room. While I’m at it, the seats should be stuffed with hundred dollar bills.
The type of car isn’t so important – I just want a good CD/tape player.
Military issue Hum-Vee…
they can climb up 60 degree grades, and can take a .50 round to the tires without them deflating (no nail punctures), and a gas-tank that can take a .50 without exploding (no gas-tank leaking)
they make 30MPG, and have aHUGE storage space (MANY MANY MANY AMPS and subs!!!)
ultimate dreamcar for anyone
the Exhaust and air-intake are ABOVE the car in asnorkel and engine casing is waterproof, so no more flash-flood worries,
and last but NOT least, bulletproof glass everywhere and a bomb-proof floor and front, which means it will hold up in an accident, and it will not breakdown…
seeing as all that went to Saudi and everywhere else came back in perfect working order…
Only 182 were made.
I’m with you Ad Noctum
I will also take the:
