I’ve already mentioned my choice: The Los Angeles Lobos. A cool name, it’s alliterative, and its Hispanic derivation gives it some local character.

Everybody’s a Lobo Woof Woof Woof. You have to do the barking wolf hand gesture at the same time.
Supposedly the LA Stars is taken from some past endeavor, but I think that would fit pretty well.
LA Toros works well for all the same reasons, too. Except you’d have the crowd doing lawnmower noises instead.

The Saints, Giants (x2), and Packers say nuh-uh, as the NFC has won 4 of the last 6, and 25 of 47 overall.
They could use Me and You and a Dog Named Boo as their theme song.
Well, maybe they’ll be in Anaheim.

If Colorado gets a team I’d call them the Aspen Questions.
If it’s Ohio, I’d go with the Canton Bees.
I’m thinking they’d hear a lot of “Will the Wolf Survive?” too.

Lobos actually sounds kind of cool.
