If you had a billion dollars: What are some truly bizarre or weird or eccentric things you would do?

Would a single billion really be enough?
Yeah, inflation dontcha’ know. You can’t even develop your own private space program for a measly billion these days.

Well, even among the wealthy, J-class yachters are weird. An all-SDMB crew gives it a bit of eccentric razzle dazzle.
Truthfully, I’d like to just give it away. Could I just shoot wads of bills around with a T-shirt cannon or something? Maybe go to a hospital and start clearing up people’s debts?
If you want to maximize the benefit, don’t clear up medical debt at the hospital. If you do it there, every dollar you spend will clear one dollar of medical debt. Instead, wait for the debt to be sent to debt collection agencies. At that point you can buy the debt for pennies on the dollar.
That won’t do their credit rating any favors, though.
Nor their blood pressure.
