Well, on several other boards, I use WindowLicker: the name of my favorite artist, Aphex Twin’s newest CD, “WindowLicker”.
But if I were in a silly mood, I’d pick something like Poop on a Stick or maybe Jesus on a Pogostick…
I used to use my first name - in fact, I’m still “michelle” in ICQ… Coming up with my current nick took over a year. PLEEEEASE don’t make me come up with another… It wouldn’t be near as clever or distinctive. If I absolutely had to change identities, I’d flip thru the dictionary looking for neat words and try to find one that suited me.

I might go with my nickname that I’ve had forever. Semi. Who knows where or how I got it, but everyone calls me that at work. Every new person that comes in thinks Semi is my last name.
Or I’d use Cor, which is my role playing name. But she’s female so…
Maybe I’d even use Programmalon. He’s the name of a superhero created by my coleagues and I. He fights the evil functional manager, Funclor, with his faithful sidekick, Coder Boy. He’s armed with the Staff of Sweeping System Changes that really only ever succeeds in pissing Funclor the hell off.

4. Butt Mint: my mother being a social worker, she was dealing with a kid who smelled really bad, she asked the kid’s teacher if she could give the kid a breath mint, the teacher said , “Its not bad breath that’s making him smell, try the other end!”, because the kid apparently has un-controllable diarrhea. I thought the concept of a “butt mint” instead of a breath mint was hilarious.
I still love Deacons Trucked, though…people seem to like it and it makes me feel good that I came up with something semi-creative which makes people think. People rarely get it on the first try.
I would go with Captain Bupkus (sp?).
Ike I haven’t seen that JW movie but I do like his stuff and you make it seem so wholesome and fun.

A couple of names that I kicked around were:
Dr. Pantalones: My sister came up with this one. Said that if she ever got a cat, that would be its name. She actually named the next one Bandit.
Lamont or Grady: The two coolest characters on “Sanford and Son.” I decided that since I couldn’t grow a decent moustache and since I didn’t have a grey sweater, I should go with something else.
Mountain Boy: A friend of mine in grad school would call me this.
But I’ve used Tommy the Cat (from the song by Primus) for years in various instances.
I want to change it to:

amiga mia, charquito de estrellas(though it’s really too long), and ultimo momento, are all songs that I adore by Alejandro Sanz, I doubt any of you have heard of him. But I doubt many people would understand them at all and typing out those lyrics is rather difficult, I’m not to great at writing anything in spanish. Or I was thinking od using Cosette or Nicolette or something french and/or Le Miz inspired. I seriously was thinking about changing my user name because of the associations with my ex, evil boy, what do you people think?

Well, I’ve already changed mine once. I used to use my real name, which is Cristi. Lots of people here still call me that. Not a problem–I used it for over 2000 posts.
I chose Persephone because I’ve always liked the story about Persephone & Demeter. I was going to use Demeter’s Daughter, but that was just too darn long.
If I were to change mine, it would be either The Evil Dr. Stain, Buck Passant, or Splint Chesthair.
If I had to pick another board name, I think I’d pick “Zev Steinhardt” instead of “zev_steinhardt”

I just decided today that if I ever feel the need for a change, I’m gonna use Hermione, thanks to the Harry Potter books. Another cool one is Pantalaimon (Golden Compass, etc.) but it seems more masculine than I’d like my SN to be.
