Today I learned that “Reverse Rainbow” is actually an official Connections thing, and not just what people here at SDMB call it.

I earned my 16th Reverse Rainbow Badge today, having taken no notice whatsoever of the first 15.

(And I was actually trying for it today! :grin:)

I enjoyed it too, definately different from the usual.

I worked out quite quickly what 3 of the connections were but there were 5 clues that fit what turned out to be the blue group. Knowing the answer I knew only one of the elements in the so called “straight forward” group.

None of the rebuses were very tough to figure out, but I liked having to use my brain a bit differently than usual.

I failed Wednesday. I didn’t know city city, but it was easy to see which category it would be, so I got purple right away. But from there, it all fell apart. I could see what the other three categories were, and I could solve most of the rebuses, but there were too many that I just didn’t know what they were.
