Another fail for me. I got Yellow and Green, but had no idea on Purple and instead used up all my guesses on Blue, which I was never going to get as I did not include the unknown-to-me Cabbage Patch.

Also, the Red Herring flew right past me: Sun, Star, Moon, Earth

I would spoiler the red herring those that haven’t done the puzzle might not appreciate seeing it.

Funny one for me today, I got three wrong guesses at the start trying to put a wrong answer into green. Once I got green (and knew the false answer) I got yellow. I then got blue with a completely incorrect grouping.

And I also had zero clues regarding Blue today. I thought the other three were all rather straightforward.

One category jumped right out at me, and I was surprised when it turned out to be purple. My 22nd purple-first according to the stats, though it’s never something I try for.

Super quick for me today. I saw purple right away although I seem to have lost where it shows you the percentage of purple firsts. I do think that I only got green because nothing else was left.

Another annoyingly USA-specific one in order to see the full pattern of purple, so that had to come by elimination, but I saw it before I clicked.
Blue made me chuckle when I first realized it.
Green and yellow were easy.

Found green yellow and blue connections straight away but had a 5th fit for yellow. Missed the purple connection even when they were the only ones left. Got it with one error.

Better than yesterday’s for me. I saw purple right away somehow. I got lucky that TOUCH evoked touchstone immediately for me for some reason, so the others fell in place. Some days you’re just on the puzzle’s wavelength.

I thought green was a total red herring. Was there one today? Before I got yellow, there were lots of possible groupings that only had two or three words.

Didn’t come close to getting Wednesday’s
Yellow was straight forward but I was not familiar enough with the green category to associate more than one of the answers wirth the subject. I didn’t know the reference of two of the blues (even knowing the answer) and would never have got purple because I am British and we don’t use any of the linked answers
