Couldn’t find the fourth yellow. I was using the wrong pronounciation for ENTRANCE and I just kept looking for the fourth.
The first two were easy. Once I realized the last one for yellow I figured out purple.
Quick and easy reverse rainbow this morning.

I was surprised blue wasn’t yellow. It jumped out at me with flashing neon lights and sirens. (There is a band called “The Thrills,” but they aren’t a girl group.)
Yeah, blue was conspicuous, but it’s not the type of clue that is usually yellow. At least not to me.
Yeah, yellow is usually just simple synonyms. When the puzzle is easy, I often struggle figuring out which is going to be yellow.
My dream is an ultra-hard version in which every category is purple, going from mauve, plum, violet and purple; but each category is equally difficult.
I had the same problem with that one word
Thursday’s puzzle is extremely easy. If you struggled with them at all this week, this one is the opposite of that.

I’m getting tired of totally missing reverse rainbows. I just can’t judge the non-purple categories most of the time.
That’s odd. I never really vared what order I solved the puzzle in until posters here started mentioning it. Today I got purple first, so I tried to do the reverse rainbow thing. I succeeded, possibly for the first time.
I long ago came to terms with the fact that I utterly suck at guessing which category will be yellow vs green vs blue. Purple is usually fairly obvious, but the others can go any which way. It does tend to be more likely that synonyms will be lower difficulty than collections of items with something in common, which was the case today, so I actually got a reverse rainbow on this puzzle. But while I make a moderate effort to get purple first, I don’t spend more than a moment’s concern over getting the rest in reverse order.
Sometimes it’s pretty clear to me which are which, but when everything is pretty easy, I can’t tell. Like I mistook yellow for blue today.
