They’re soldhere. They’re expensive, as lollipops go. I have ordered some, but they haven’t had time to arrive. So I can’t tell you how they taste.
I’m going to be mailing most of them to relatives, just to pass on the whimsy.
For the harder core among you, they also have absinthe, bourbon, and wasabi-ginger flavors. I think I’ll stick with the maple-bacons.
One bump to let it see the morning light.
Wow, that sounds really good. I wish there was another way to pay than paypal. I really loathe paypal.
Thanks for the link!
Wasabi-Ginger sounds amazing, but none of the rest strike my fancy and though I’d pay $2.50for one, $10 for four is too much.
I got a dozen of the maple-bacon lollipops, and I’m underwhelmed. Or at least not as overwhelmed as I was with the Pig Brittle I made last year. Flavor is mostly slightly caramelized maple and the head came off the stick without much sucking. The little bacon bits are good. The lollies are also much smaller than I expected, given the price. They are about 10 grams each, including wrapper and stick. The stick does not weight more than five grams, the minimum amount I can measure on my kitchen scale.
It was still a good idea, Yllaria, and thanks again for the heads-up. I might try modifying the pig brittle to include some maple.
