If you plan to lose it at work-- beat this:

His lawyer said that he looked out the window before deploying the slide and verified that no one was in the way. It seems to me that at the very least, he has to pay for a replacement slide, or for whatever it costs to repack this one.

According to a couple of news items i read yesterday, that can be up to $10,000.

I am surprised its that cheap.

Damn…probably should have checked in this thread before starting a thread about her.

How big of an asshole does someone have to be to make a flight attendant lose his shit and leave the plane before it’s stopped? Looks like we found out. I kinda hope the /b/tards find out who this guy is and show him what professional assholes do.

It was a woman and the police want to talk to her. She should be charged too.

Awww, Jenny is a fake. Nice call mhendo

animation of the flight attendant incident.

Craig: I did nothing ‘inappropriate’ in airport bathroom,

Sen. Larry Craig said he “overreacted and made a poor decision” in pleading guilty to disorderly conduct after his June arrest following an incident in a Minneapolis, Minnesota, airport bathroom.

Butt pi(rates)lots.

Wow, that’s hilarious! He even runs into his gay lovers arms at the end.

Why, oh why was there even a need to report that he was “in bed with boyfriend when found by cops.”?

This obviously has completely and utterly nothing at all to do with the story.

If he was in bed with his girlfriend or wife, not only would that not have made the story, but you can bet it certainly wouldn’t have been the story headline!

Holy fuck.

The article is even specific on what they were doing:

:stuck_out_tongue:

But still, his romantic life must not have been that interesting if he had to lose it at work.

His response to the bill for repacking it should be a bill of his own for “testing the viability of the emergency exit slide” and probably simply ask “when was the last time this was tested?”

I like the fact he appears drunk and staggers before he even pops the beer can at the bottom. The change to dramatic music was funny as hell too.

No question that he needs to be fired and held accountable for the money damages, but I think JetBlue would be fools to pursue him more than that as it would be negative press.

I do hope they find the obnoxious woman as she needs to be dragged into the spotlight. Rudeness isn’t a crime but I sure don’t mind seeing the rude squirm a bit.

Rudeness isn’t a crime, but deliberately disobeying the instructions of airplane crew is, i believe, a federal offense.

Too bad naval rules don’t apply and he couldn’t just flog her. I’m sure there’s some archaic law they could revive that would take care of that- or, imagine being keel hauled on an inflight airplane.

I was going to hold off on posting this, but even the article itself mentions that it’s surprising he had an ex-wife.

They do mention that the two were very young when they married; not only could he have been finding himself, but she says it was a mistake on her immature part also.

The wife part is surprising but the *ex- *part not at all.

I wonder if the alleged obnoxious passenger will be charged with anything, or if Slater- who seems to have a good record up to that point- could realistically or convincingly plead temporary insanity.
