If you would have got your wish when you were FOUR, what would you be today.

Married.
Not knowing who I was going to marry was actually my biggest worry before I entered kindergarten.

A teenager and/or a boy.

A cowgirl.

And I’d ride my horsy every day and Gene Autrey and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and The Lone Ranger and Tonto and all the Cartwrights would be my bestest friends. So there.

I’d be three. On my 4th birthday I threw a fit cause I didn’t wanna be four, I wanted to stay three. So if I got my wish, I’d still be three.

LOL fizzes, that’s the greatest!

I would be a single mother. I thought it was so cool that my mom got to make all the rules all by herself, and I didn’t want to compromise or share anything with a boy. I’d get to pick all of my kids’ names (no idea where the kids came from) and do everything my way.

I’m REALLY glad that didn’t work out for me.

PS

My husband would be a fire engine. Not a fireman, mind you. A big red truck with a siren.

Freak.

A garbage man! Like, how cool is it to a 4 year old boy to get to ride around all day hanging off the back of a truck!

an only child

Luke Skywalker

I’m only 9 months off schedule!!! – I wanted to be a lawyer when I was three.

The real question is whether I’ll ever be what I wanted to be when I was 18.

I would even stand on the coffee table and argue the house rules, and I was constantly arguing my way out of things and into later and later bedtimes… oh well…

When I was 7 I wanted to be Quincy, ME when I grew up. but then I witnessed a boil biopsied off someone’s rump when I was 16 and changed my mind…

I’d be eating ice cream and my parents would like each other. I’m eating ice cream right now, so I suppose I can’t complain too much.

Now now Purse, hes only human, just like the rest of us.

A kitten.

Like Muffy’s Sis and Slainte, I would have been a ballerina. I distinctly remember my dad suggesting that perhaps I wanted to be a doctor…

I wanted to be a mathematician. Yes, in fact I was a very boring child. I am in the midst of becoming a physicist which is somewhat close I suppose.

I also wanted to be a caterpillar. This was long before Ralph Wiggum wanted to be one. I had a pet caterpillar at the time, I think it was a woolly bear. My sister is taking biology so maybe she can figure out how this dream can come true.

I’d be Michael Jackson.

I knew a kid in 1st grade who would be a truck.

A “car fixit man”, i.e., auto mechanic.

An entomologist. I looooved to dissect and watch bugs all day. Barring that, I wanted to be a sea monkey and live in a tree. At the same time

I’m still working on the Entomology thing.

I was going to be a teacher and a doctor and a vet.

A scientist, or a Queen.
