If you would have got your wish when you were FOUR, what would you be today.

A cetologist.

I was a horribly precocious child.

Godzilla

I’d be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary any day now.

Ah Rochelle, you broke my heart.

Either a ballerina or an astronaut. Most of the time I wanted to be a ballerina.

Another wanna-be ballerina here.

I also wanted to be an only child…

I’d be a paperboy (yes I had an odd upbringing)

egg

Judging from every single picture taken of me from baby til about eight I wanted to be a cowboy. I do have a picture of me taken at age four on a pony dressed in a cowboy outfit. It’s just so adoreable!

I think I would be five.

Although I do vaguely remember wanting to be a miner or a professional spelunker, as I had some kind of Freudian obsession with stuff that goes on underground. When I was about 6, I wanted to be either an astrophysicist, a superhero, a spy, or a detective, or some combination thereof.

Astronaut. On something a bit faster than the Space Shuttle…

I would probably have been prime minister.

I used to play politics with my small teddy bears giving them names of politicians I´d heard on TV.

I would be a Solid Gold Dancer.

A magician, a monster, or Lassie.

I wasn’t even close. I hadn’t heard of computers back then.

Blissfully non-existent.

A Mandrell sister. Especially liked Louise who played the fiddle. I loved that show when it was on and thought the Mandrell sisters were the prettiest and coolest ladies ever.

Umm…I guess I would be Ron Howard.

At 4, I had this very strong belief that the Andy Griffith Show was about me and my dad.

Superman. I was particularly interested in fighting crime, but I did want to wear a cape and fly.

A mermaid. A pretty, pretty mermaid who would swim between Puget Sound, WA and Hawai’i.

I would be older than my cousin Valerie, who is four years older than I am. At that age, I was still sure that I would eventually catch up to her age, and be the one who was older, eventually.; all it would take was a few more birthdays…Since she’s now nearly 30, I’m glad that never happen

Jane Goodall, without a doubt (this later progressed into my long-lived desire to be a zookeeper).

A policeman or an astronaut.
