I searched the web and all I came up with is “remove the batteries, wait an hour and try again.”
My daughter’s iHome stopped working on the weekend. It still dimly displayed the time, through the back-up AA batteries, but nothing else.
So, I took the power pack from my son’s unit and plugged it into my daughter’s unit, and still nothing. At this point I tried the supposedly defective power pack on the good unit, my son’s, and it didn’t work.
Now, neither of them work with either power pack.
I’m thinking that the power pack for my daughter’s unit shorted out and blew something in the unit itself, and when I tried that defective one in my son’s it did the same thing.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Maybe there’s an easily accessible fuse somewhere, or something. (Although the screws seems to have proprietary triangle-shaped sockets.)
Anyone?
