As a US Navy veteran currently working in the DoD, this must be very personal for you. I have not doubt you have the utmost concern for the troops.

But here’s the thing… when I mentioned:

Question for the OP: What do you think of one country launching a military attack on another in the midst of diplomatic negotiations? Feel free to go back to, perhaps, December 7, 1941 for an earlier example.

Comment for the OP: I somehow missed or forgot your child is in that debacle. That does not mean my stance on the issue is incorrect. Facts are facts. And @iiandyii is correct in that thread.

Just so you know. Of course I hope your child is safe. I hope everyone’s child is safe. I also hope this debacle started by the wannabe dictator we have in charge in the Unitd States is over soon and somehow the United States regains the prestige and respect we used to have.
