I really do like the rendition of Joy to the World that plays on these Illinois Lottery ads. It’s got a nice jazzy tune and some bouncy bass going for it.

jeez, that is one of the many holiday commercials that make me hit the mute button. I may tire of xmas songs and carols, but when ads start inserting other lyrics into the xmas melodies to pimp whatever their selling, it makes me want to vomit.
YMMV, of course.
The tune’s catchy, but I’m not sure there’s any commercial message I hate more than encouraging people to buy scratchoffs as gifts.
