Also not laughing. I just test drove a Mini (British racing car green) 2 hours ago, and it was an amusement park ride. If Mhendo’s Nigerian windfall doesn’t come through, I may have to buy it myself.
Of course, it could never be my one and only car, but I already have a crew-cab pick-up truck that is killing me at the pump. I need a commuter, and a Mini would get me to work for half the gas price and with a huge smile on my face.

Now, if you could build me a car, base it on the Pathfinder but give it another 2 inches of ground clearence, and selectable locking differentials (none of this automatic crap) and a nicely integrated winch.
My head says ‘mini’. Fun, good on gas, good in winter. A reasonable amount of fun for a 20-90 minute commute to work, traffic not withstanding.
My heart says Dodge Challenger SRT8, manual shift, darkest metallic midnight-blue made & to hell with any racing stripe paint job*.
*floating brain-sucking silver balls & Angus Scrimm shouting “Boooooy…!” sold seperately. :eek:
