[Johnny Carson] “That is some wild, wild schtuff” [/Johnny Carson]
So am I going into early senile dementia, or am I already there?
I love the 3-D Animation, the humor, and the just sheer craziness of each episode. I work nights, but set my alarm so that I can watch it when it comes on in the afternoons, and I will be renting the DVD of the movie as well.
So my question: Are there any others of my age that enjoy today’s cartoons, or am I in serious trouble here?
Ahh yes, Jimmy Neutron, the cause of my catchphrase of last summer:
‘The boy’s a genius’ (go long on the ge-)
I’m not quite your age (32 years off to be exact) but I love Jimmy. The rest of the new stuff I hate though.
You’re never to old to enjoy a good cartoon. I’m 17 and find Jimmy hilarious-what with his absurd friends who are obsessed with one thing or another (either llamas or Ultra Lord), his parents (his father’s more insane than his sensible mother), and of course, those inventions. I especially liked when he brought Thomas Edison to the present to settle an argument. The grizzled inventor comes out muttering about Henry Ford, shouts at a light bulb claiming copyright infringement, and appears to see himself superior to other inventors as he comments, “Well, knock a few points off my IQ and call me Tesla!”
