"I'm a little teapot, short and stout..."

“Here is my handle
Here is my spout”

I seem to remember some fairly recent movie that had this rhyme, but I can’t remember which one it is. Can anyone help?

Maybe Stephen King’s Storm of the Century mini-series?

Perhaps it was Greedy, with Michael J. Fox and Kirk Douglas?

The Simpsons has featured that ditty a few times, tho cutest when Bart does it as a toddler.

My kindergarten teacher, circa 1976, used to sing it differently:

“I’m a little teapot, short and stout,
Here is my handle, here is–”

(She keeps both hands on her hips at this point.)

“Oops. I’m a sugarbowl.”

I do that one, to amuse the kiddies. I don’t do the sugarbowl reveal until I reach the “tip me over” part of the routine, when I try both ways, without success.

HUGE laffs.
