IMHO will consist of medical advice culled from homeopathy websites, legal advice given by para-legals fired from Jacoby & Meyers, and personal advice from “classic” Ann Landers columns.

If they were all in one place, yes. But people were scatter-shotting them all over the thread. I saw it coming on the first post, and made a joke back then. I called it right. In any event, I’m 99% sure people were just trying to milk a joke, as that is par for the course here (ie Monty Python, Princess Bride, zombies, etc etc etc).

Yes, me too, also…After being ‘banned’, I just kept checking back and eventually everything seemed back to normal, so I deduced that I did not do something ban-worthy. Then I noticed this thread and knew it was a widespread thing. Appreciate your hard work!
First comes the mass banning of the Board. Now I’m hearing of some giant power outage covering California, Arizona and parts of Mexico. Oh, what havoc hath the Administerminator wrought?
I figured that I hadn’t been banned as it said IP address but my account was still visible in the upper right corner.
That said, kinda hoped I had been. Would’ve added to my already impressive street cred.

I reckon the mods and the admins decided to have a booze up and instead of a designated driver just made a decision "Let’s pretend this…)

I got a very nice reply from TubaDiva explaining the problem, along with an apology and a thank you for being one of the teeming millions…at 11:34 pm that night! So a certain Diva was working way overtime.
So thank you again for the time and trouble you went through for what amounted to a tiny glitch. That is truly one of the many reasons I remain a member.
