From the coal miners killed by deregulation to the Americans who died from salmonella out breaks by wreck-less corporations, to middle Americas falling salaries.
You, me, our entire middle class is dying, being destroyed, being murdered both financially and physically by the corporate profit first policies that the Republican party champions.

How Republican Deregulation Destroyed the Economy and Caused the Oil Spill
** But in this on going unfolding tragedy of growing corporate power in which we are living nothing is arguably more tragic than the way private health insurance companies murdered and bankrupted millions of Americans.**

It’s perhaps the most clear cut moral issues of our time** corporations murdering and defrauding Americans on a massive scale because for several years the Republican party not only blocked all attempts to add additional regulation upon these companies, they went the extra mile for industry after industry and appointed industry insiders to regulatory positions not to regulate their industries, but to help them get around rules.
Or to put it another way the Republican party is directly complicit in the defrauding of millions of Americans and the murder of more Americans than the 3000+ that died on 9/11
And yet where were the democratic leaders and strategists that stated the facts as clearly as I just did?
With the exception of Alan Grayson and a few others nowhere
To Quote Robert Reich:
From the economic crapper were in caused by Republican deregulation to the tea bagger enthusiasm on the right there are a number of factors we can’t do much about in the next short months.
But the one thing we can do, the one area where we can turn things around is OUR messaging which right now sucks ass.
But our leaders are not going to do it, Obama isn’t willing to do it like FDR did. If he was right now
**+Inequality and the growing gap between the rich and the poor would be a massive if not the biggest campaign issue of today.
+In the health care debate we would have created powerful narratives with all the families of the fallen Americans who died at the hands of our murder for profit health insurance Cartels.
+Everyone in our country would know that wreck-less deregulation of the past three decades caused all the economic pain they are feeling right now.
** Everyone would know Millions of our jobs have gone overseas with trade policies crafted by politicians not for the betterment of our country, but so multinational corporations can up their profits with third world dirt cheap slave labor.
And then some…
So we have to change it ourselves to give us a fighting chance and I have a plan to do just that by running ads like this we need to start hammering the GOP on the disasters that their policies cause.

Or this one I wrote on our collapsing wages.

In the ad their are young adults standing in front of a white background, (I’m sure you’ve seen an ad or two that does this)

I believe this Idea has the power to impact the elections, but outside of posting a link to my video everywhere I can, I’ve exhausted my resources to move this idea much farther without some help. The ads like the one above and many more can be made fast with the resources to do so, a connection with an organization that can do so, I’ve been trying, sending this to everyone who’s anyone and with the exception of Paul Rosenberg at Openleft.comAt link you can read the extended version of this diary btw ) who put this on the front page of their site I haven’t so much as gotten a response from anyone.
**So if you want to help you could email this around, facebook, tweet, digg it, etc. Thanks **
And here’s an example of a health-care ad idea

Death Dealers **

I refer to them as death dealers
(((S-Camera looking at a gravestone, card of death falls in front of grave))
You pay for your health care for years and they cover the cheap stuff without much hassle prescriptions, check ups, but then disaster hits. Your child gets leukemia, your wife gets breast cancer.
They deny your care, cancel your policy, it’s called rescission and it has
Resulted in far more deaths than nine eleven, left millions of families ruined, bankrupt.
Because the Republican party doesn’t believe in the regulations that would have stopped insurance companies from rescinding care.
Doesn’t believe in the rules that stopped Wall Street greed
-that kept oil companies in check
So they removed them and
-Our economy collapsed
-Unmeasurable environmental damaged ensued and
