Should I plan something special? Or should I just compulsively make sure that I don’t look at my post count for a couple of months? If I do something special, what should I do? I have no creativity at all when it comes to stuff like this.
If you do anything special, the Mods will stomp on it with their Mod Jackboots. They frown upon the celebration of milestones around here. Best to just have it pass un-noticed in a flurry of posts about something inconsequential in IMHO.
I dunno… maybe read the stickies at the top of this forum?
Or any of our other eight fantastic forums!

I went over an average of 1 post per day a few weeks ago. Before about last October, I had around 700 posts.
1000, eh?

Why would anyone count the number of posts they made?
Do you count the number of sentences when you talk in a day?
They don’t allow celebration posts/threads about post counts here, Plan B, as others have said: but celebrate in your own way. Wear something outrageous. Bake a cake. Have a glass of your favourite tipple. Hug a tree. Whatever takes your fancy.
Have a great time.
Maybe switch off your computer, go outside and have a celebratory walk in the fresh air?
There speaks someone with less than 1000 posts!
Plan B, we tend to close post-count party threads:
