The wedding went off really well- the ceremony was lovely, and at the end we had a butterfly release, which everyone loved.
No, I didn’t get married as a British Officer :p, but we (being myself, the best man, and the groomsman) did go with Top Hats, Tails, and Canes, which worked really well and looked nice indeed.
We had an excellent string trio playing at the ceremony, and at our request they played the theme from Raiders Of The Lost Ark as the finale to the recessional music, which everyone loved as well.
The reception went perfectly too, with lots of drinking and dancing and general merriment had by all. We had about 70 guests, which was the perfect number, and the speech went down really well, which I was very happy about. In fact, all the speeches were really good, and after the reception we had a number of people thanking us and saying it was the best wedding they’d been too etc.
Both my new wife and I are now thoroughly sick of cameras and posing for photos, however.
We’re off on honeymoon tomorrow- heading to San Francisco, before making our way to Las Vegas and then finally Los Angeles before coming home in a month- we’re both looking forward to the holiday, I can tell you!
