I'm going to beat the shit out of the next person that says to me...

“Oh, we have to rehabilitate him again.”

FUCK!

You fucking sex criminals that keep getting released back into the world, time and time again, after serving some time. Board rules prevent me from saying anything specific, I’ll let you figure it out on your own.

But it will begin with a major fucking beating administered by the victim’s family after I catch your fucking ass, and followed up by whatever they don’t do.

Another one of you fucks went ahead and did it again. 10 years old. You sick twisted fuck! (During the Amber Alert she was said to be mentally challenged.)

So what did you do with your new toy? What was the fucking purpose you fucking fuckass?!?!?
Hmm…I wonder if there’s a pattern here.

Or here

Or this this fucking piece of shit.
You fucking shitrags can’t be reformed and you can’t ever be trusted to walk our streets. Fuck every single one of you fucks that prey on women and kids to fuck and than kill them. Then, for a bonus, dump the bodies in shallow graves like a bag of trash.
FUCK!

For once, I agree with you here, duffer. If these people are so dangerous they have to register with some list, then they’re too damned dangerous to be out on the streets.

If known for certain they did it.

Shot while escaping.

I think one of the neatest video clips I’ve ever seen was from a local station, one of these pieces of shit was being returned for trial to the jurisdiction where he has abused and killed a child. Sheriff’s deputies were dragging this grinning asshole through the airport past a bank of pay phones when suddenly a man who was on a phone hung up, turned around, and shot the motherfucker right in the head from about 12 inches away.

It was the child’s father.

What’s even cooler is that he was given probation and no jail time at all. Sometimes right triumphs over the judicial system.

In another thread **Well, Fuck! Looks like he killed her ** I said much of the same things you have said here. I extend this line of recourse to the Parole Board/ Judges that keep putting these things back out in the world to feed on the innocent. I feel there should be some accountability for all thsoe that are guilty of the death of this child.
I have propsed in the past that animals like this should be farmed out for orans and such. Do the tissue typing, contact those on the waiting lists for orans that match the proile, fly them to the State were the “execution of sentance” will take place, put the asshole under sedation (if you feel you must) and take him apart, carrying the parts to the other operating rooms were the other doctors are waiting. When anything of use has been harvested, pull the plug.
At least this way, these fucks will have contributed something to the world and help those in need

I saw that news clip and stood straight up and yelled “YEAH!” when I saw it. That guy is my hero. I had never heard what came of him after this and thank you for the background.

Weirddave, I remember that as well. Great story.

Rehabilitate, again???

I do not support the death penalty, except if it’s a case where the person is a risk to society if allowed to roam free.

This is what pisses me off. Almost all these fucks that take it to actual murder have either done it before and served time, or served time for everything up to murder. Once they get out, there ya go. Here’s our women.
Check the links in the last line of my cites. That peice of shit served 23- years for the same fucking shit and Minnesota decided to release him in May 2004. November 2004 Dru was kidnapped, raped, and dumped in a drainage ditch where her body lay till found months later. He was in custody, but refused to say where he dumped her.
If he wasn’t in protective custody I’d get my ass thrown in jail to to say “Hi, how ya doin’? I’m duffer, and I’ll be your nightmare tonight.”

From what I understand, sex crimes are considered particularly vile, even in prison. If there’s any justice, maybe someone else will deliver a similar message.

Not to be pedantic, and not to say that I don’t agree with you emotionally, but that would be ‘allegedly’ abused and killed, since he never went to trial for it, yes?

Again, I’ve also got the ‘serves you right’ emotional response, but there’s also something creepy about the citizenry dispensing death penalties on people without due process.

Unless you’re part of the citizenry living in a non- Death penalty state and it’s your daughter that’s dead.

I’m not for all-out vigilantiism, but in cases like this I’d do everything I could to get in that jury box to acquit. And take a nap if given the time during the defense arguments.

Um, if the father was on trial for killing the shitbag. But I’m sure everyone knew that.

I have a great deal of emotional agreement with all the posts in this thread.

But, I really do think that the rule of law is important too. Vigilantism is scary - when you’re sure that you’ve got the perp, it does seem compelling. I’m can’t even say I’d not do the same thing as the man mentioned in Weirddave’s anecdote. I just don’t like the idea of accepting that as a routine course of business.

One of the things that pisses me off is that there are a lot of judiciaries that can’t seem to see a link between the actions of courts insisting on releasing violent, and predatory offenders, and the growth of support for the Death Penalty. I can’t say that these sort of stories are the norm or not. I don’t know the stats, and can’t be bothered at the moment to do serious research on the topic. But, when you’ve got people like Arthur Shawcross, convicted of sodomizing and murdering two boys in the 70’s and then, after release for that, he goes on to be a serial murderer; or Angel Mateo, a man who was out on bond for one torture-murder incident, and then kills again (To pick two incidents with Rochester links.); it’s hard for people to not think that there’s more concern about the rights and liberties of alleged criminals, than there is for the citizenry at large.

Sometimes, I think that the judiciaries that are most against the death penalty are doing the most to bring it back.

I agree. It is sad that people feel the need to take justice into their own hands though I can understand the feeling behind it. It would have been tragic if that man had been jailed for “avenging” his child, but just as sad if he had killed a suspect who turned out to be innocent.

Vengence is a normal human emotion/instinct but in “civilised” (are we really very civilised?) society we are not supposed to act on those instincts. We have set up systems to judge and punish those who wrong us. When horrific crimes happen it makes it harder to trust in those systems but the answer is not to become self appointed judge and jury.

Child sex offenders do seem to have high recidivism rates. Should we be looking at how we attempt to rehabilitate them and why it doesn’t work? It’s not exactly a new crime.

I know this sounds dreadfully PC duffer but I just don’t feel comfortable living in a society where we can dole out our own justice. Societies rules and regulations are in part to protect us from our own emotionality.

And yes I have a child and OHHHH yes if my child was harmed I would want to see whoever hurt him punished. I just wouldn’t trust my own judgement. I would be too blinded by seeing red.

Heh, let them go into prison in the General Population. There are plenty of people who blame Uncle Teddy that molested them for being in prison I am certain. Too many stupid things are illegal and sending people to prison. That’s one of the few cases where I actually believe a strict prison sentence is in order. When I was arrested, I went to be arraigned, the guy I was cuffed to in the car on the way to the courthouse was in there for molesting his fiancee’s 12 year old daughter. I felt pretty revolted when I found that out. But as I was being released after my arraignment the cop mercifully did not cuff me to him on the way back. While I don’t know what happened with that story, I just had this overwhelming feeling looking at the guy like “Fuck he really did it.”, and a part of me did pity him at the same time as being revolted. I think the only truely fitting punishment, is not to make their punishment any more extreme than it has to be, but just put them in Gen Pop at the prison. He won’t live for terribly long, and will probably die excrutiatingly.

In Santa Fe, when they had a prison riot, they crucified a child molestor. They may have also beheaded him. I can’t recall.

So the best course is to just let irony have them. Ten years is a VERY long time to be a reviled predator amongst other predators all of whom are higher on the pecking order than they.

Well, maybe the answer is longer terms. Or death. Maybe we should change the sentencing guidelines, as the severity of the crime has gone up.

Hell, they used to hang horse thieves. Why don’t they hang car thieves? Things change in the public perspective.

Maybe the answer is actually trying to rehabilitate people, rather then “I hope their crime is revisted on them in prison” aka revenge.

Hell, they used to burn witches. Good thing we moved on eh.
Has the severity of crime gone up or we just more (and constantly) informed about the crime we have? Who is getting more prolific? The media or the criminals?

I’m a little less than thrilled about this part. I’m even going to go so far as to say that the fact that he really wasn’t punished about it is as far from “cool” as you can get.

I can understand where he was coming from. If somebody did that to my daughter, I would do much the same thing if I didn’t just opt for the crotch shot. I would expect to be sent to prison for it though. A crime is a crime.

Sorry I can’t explain it better. I just think that cheering this guy on for it is a little creepy.

That’s the problem, kiwi the recividism rate for sex offenders (especially child sex offenders) is through the roof, so rehabilitation is one ‘solution’ that doesn’t work.

Still, two of the biggest issues with sex offenses are a) The accusation is as good as a conviction, it’s a scarlet letter, whether your’re actually guilty or not. b) What constitutes a sex offense in many cases is so broad, that probably 80% of the population has committed a sex offense, without, of course, having been charged.

Keep in mind boys, that talking that chippie you’re chatting up at the pub into a midnight relationship in the backseat, might have you in an orange jumpsuit, and shackled to another convict before you can have the chance to never call her again.

That said, anyone, and I mean ANYONE convicted beyond a reasonable doubt, or in fact confesses to, the overt sexual molestation of a child, should be fertilizer.

One appeal, with all the resources we can spare to make damn well sure the wretched accused actually committed the crime, and if the results hold up to wide and complete open public scrutiny, then the judge says ‘GUILTY’ bangs the gavel, which clicks a micro switch, and then…

The chair the accused is sitting in folds down, like a dunk tank, the human garbage goes on down a chute, into the big chipper, and his ‘remains’ are put into a protein fertilizer solution to grow flowers in the city park.
