Yup. :cool: Leaving after work Friday, 2/23 and heading home Wednesday, 2/28.

This will be my 3rd Mardi Gras, my first as a married man! Mrs. Rastahomie, who has never been to New Orleans, is coming, too. She’s going to be in for quite a surprise :eek:!

Also, I hear that Proteus is marching again this year after a long “pout,” as one travel guide put it. I’m looking forward to seeing that!

So, who’s been to Mardi Gras and would like to share stories? And, any New Orleans dopers want to meet at Pat O’Brien’s for a hurricane, let me know…

I’ve never been, but someone booked me for a speaking gig in New Orleans at the end of February. While I do have to talk for 2 hours on online marketing, there will likely be a few hours for enjoying the celebration. Maybe a New Orleans DopeFest? (Oh, wait…I haven’t recovered from last night’s NYC DopeFest yet.)
