My little sister is giving birth to her first child (and the first grandchild for her and her hubby’s parents) tomorrow. Her name is going to be Alyssa Rayne, and if her parents are any indication, she’s going to look like an angel and be the most difficult child ever.
I’ll post pictures as soon as I get some (since people seem to like baby pictures around here. Hey, maybe I’ll put a kitten in it too! :))
Anyway, on the off-chance my sister (or future Alyssa) finds this: Congrats and I’m looking forward to seeing you, baby Alyssa.
If I had a sex-change, I could be an aunt tomorrow as well.
As it stands, I am a proud uncle, and even a great-uncle.
My niece is great, and my great niece is the most talented, beautiful little girl on earth - might be a bit of bias in that statement, but she has more potential than any kid I have ever seen sprout from our elm-diseased family tree!
Congrats on impending aunthood. Your job is to spoil said child as often as possible.
