I haven’t posted for ages, but I’m very excited and wanted to update a few people.
I have ONE MONTH of massage therapy school left. It’s been kind of an ordeal…I got sick (interstitial cystitis) halfway through, then there was a mutiny in the school and it shut down for several months. It worked out well for me, as I had time to recover and was feeling somewhat better by the time it reopened.
Anyway…after I graduate, I need to pay the remainder of my tuition, take my state exam, and I’ll be certified and can go to work in a spa or on my own.
I’m so happy about this change. I’ve been wanting to do massage for years.
In other news, the kids are doing great. The gender-questioning kid is still working through it all, but is feeling good about things and has a great support system in place. The older brother will be a senior and is an all-around good kid.
I’m feeling very lucky and blessed!
I’m in remission for now, and it’s heaven. I was pretty much out of the game for a year and a half. Say what you will about acupuncture, but it made all the difference to me. Right now (since March) I’m pain-free and medication-free…I’ll take it!
