I'm looking for a good baked apple slices recipe, anyone have one?

There are so many versions of baked apple recipe’s out there…

Anyone have a good recipe they wouldn’t mind sharing?

I don’t want to do whole apples, just slices, if it matters.

As soon as I find a grocery store that sells both brie and puff pastry (arrrrrggghhh) I’m going to try this recipe from Pinterest. I don’t see how it could be bad.

Of course, that involves a lot more than just apple slices.

How about sauteed apples? They are really easy.

Take two large apples and peel, core and slice them.

Melt 4 TB of butter in a saucepan and add the apples. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

Add a 1/2 cup of sugar (can be regular sugar or brown sugar, choose whatever you prefer) and about 1/2 tsp or so, to taste of cinnamon. Stir until it’s all melted and the slices are nicely coated and tender.

You can add a cup or so of cranberries or raisins along with the apples if you want to as well.

Enjoy!

Thanks both of you. I have an abundance of apples I need to cook up.
